CHELTENHAM, U.K. -- ADC (NASDAQ: ADCT, www.adc.com) today announced the new brand for the combined ADC and KRONE organisations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The new name, ADC KRONE, fully leverages the strengths of both the ADC and KRONE brands in the region and better reflects the joining of two major forces in the European network infrastructure industry.

The new website address for ADC KRONE is www.adckrone.com.

ADC KRONE has a comprehensive communications plan in place to inform customers, channel partners, suppliers, trade associations, government bodies, employees, the media and industry and financial analysts about the new name change. This plan is currently being implemented and all re-branding changes are expected to be complete by mid-March in time for ADC KRONE's presence at CeBIT, the company's most high-profile marketing event of the year in the region. CeBIT takes place in Hannover, Germany, between 10-16 March, and ADC KRONE's stand number will be A06, Hall 15.

"One of the major reasons ADC acquired KRONE was for KRONE's global market presence, including the company's scope of business in EMEA," said Axel Kahsnitz, ADC KRONE's Regional Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa. "By going to market in EMEA as ADC KRONE, we aim to create an identity in the marketplace that underlines the powerful combination of the two companies and provides the best products and services relevant to communications networks in EMEA."
