Verizon Wireless has begun accepting registrations for the first annual Mobile Convergence Technology Summit

NEW YORK -- Verizon Wireless today beganaccepting registrations for the first annual Mobile Convergence TechnologySummit, co-sponsored by Alcatel-Lucent and scheduled for May 6, 2008 at NewWorld Stages, 340 West 50th Street in Manhattan.

The summit, which begins with registration at 9 a.m. and closes with areception from 5 to 7 p.m., is designed to educate business customers tothe benefits and advantages of taking their wireless devices beyond simpleemail management. Managers and executives from businesses of all sizes willbenefit from the event's hands-on tutorials, previews of the newestbusiness applications and live demonstrations by a wide-range of mobilesolutions providers.
