NEW YORK -- Accedo (http://www.accedo.tv/), the global market leader in TV application solutions, today announced that it has partnered with NBCUniveresal’s Seeso, a new streaming comedy channel from NBCUniversal Digital Enterprises. The subscription service is set to debut on January 7, 2016.

Announced in the fall 2015, Seeso will be the first-of-its kind offering from NBCUniversal, providing comedy fans a premium, ad-free subscription service for $3.99 per month, across streaming platforms, connected devices and other distribution partners. Seeso will feature exclusive original series and stand-up from Dan Harmon, Upright Citizens Brigade, Cameron Esposito, Wyatt Cenac and other comic illuminati, plus curated content including NBC Late Night shows, “Monty Python’s Flying Circus,” “The Kids in the Hall,” the US and UK versions of “The Office,” and more.

The Seeso experience is powered by the Accedo AppGrid (http://appgrid.accedo.tv) solution and ensures subscribers can easily navigate and view video content. Working together with video publishing partner, thePlatform (https://www.theplatform.com), Accedo AppGrid reduces maintenance costs and gives the Seeso team full management control of the service, from a central cloud-based dashboard across all platforms.
