Ring 9 Has New CEO

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Board of Directors of Ring 9, Inc. is pleased to announce that Robert F. McCarthy has been named Chief Executive Officer and will oversee all operations of the leading Voice over Internet Protocol telephony provider. Bob is a senior technology executive with a stellar track record of success in the telecommunications and software industries. His broad experience includes sales, marketing, operations, technical support, and product management.

Bob comes to Ring 9 from CA, Inc. (formerly known as Computer Associates) a $4B software company. Bob was Vice President and Regional Manager for CA’s enterprise customers in Florida and the Caribbean, an $80M business. Bob delivered double-digit growth in new product sales and billings as one of CA’s top performing regions in the world. Prior to CA Bob spent 16 years at AT&T in a variety of sales, marketing and operations roles. In his most recent assignment at AT&T as Sales Center Vice President he led a $200M organization serving enterprise customers in Florida.
