SINGAPORE -- Epsilon Telecommunications, the world’s largest global telecoms network exchange, has been selected by iBasis, a KPN company, to provide a fully integrated managed point of presence (PoP) in Singapore as well as colocation support and network connectivity. As one of the world’s largest carriers of voice minutes, iBasis will use Epsilon’s local infrastructure and support to enhance its network presence in Asia-Pacific while consolidating its existing Singapore PoPs. In addition, the Epsilon facility is a cost-efficient way to expand iBasis’ IPX footprint and to serve more customers with voice and data services in the region. This PoP will be located at Epsilon Global Hubs NTP (Singapore). The Epsilon Global Hubs NTP is a carrier-centric facility with deep metro network coverage in Singapore and will be used by iBasis as an interconnection hub for the region. Epsilon’s more than 450 preconnected network operators can be leveraged by iBasis to extend its already unique footprint to more places in Asia and around the globe.Epsilon Telecommunications
