AUCKLAND -- EMS-Cortex has become a Microsoft Technology Partner. Its core product,Cortex, extends the value of Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC).

The Cortex provisioning platform brings a new level of accessibility to the managed servicesmarket by offering a flexible and affordable option for solutions based on Microsoft HMC solutionand additional value-add applications. Cortex enables telecoms, ISPs and service providers tostreamline provisioning and reduce operational costs, decrease customer churn, engageadditional distribution channels and reduce time-to-market for new hosted services.

EMS-Cortex is to grow its install base globally. iHost and 6Y’s needed to install a provisioningsystem which would help to efficiently deliver different hosted applications to their customers.

By provisioning Hosted Exchange, Cortex allowed iHost to focus even more efficiently on meetingtheir customers’ needs and continue to deliver excellent service. In late 1999, iHost Solutions wasborn with a charter to provide affordable high availability hosting offerings for small to mediumsized companies. iHost Solutions now owns and operates two data centers within the ColumbusMetropolitan area. The American company provides managed hosting, co-location, and businesshosting for clients nationwide.

By automating 6Y’s manual provisioning processes, Cortex helped the Australian service providerto increase customer satisfaction and reduce staff work load. 6Y’s can now efficiently provisionHosted Exchange and Citrix to their customers. 6Y’s brings to its clients professionalcomprehensive IT outsourcing allowing them to concentrate on their core business.
