Pelago Networks appoints ex-Nortel exec Rajesh Tyagi as VP of product line management and strategy

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Pelago Networks, provider of revenue-generating converged service solutions, today announced the appointment of Rajesh Tyagi to Vice President of Product Line Management and Strategy. With over 18 years in the telecommunications industry, Tyagi brings to Pelago a deep understanding and knowledge of delivering highly reliable carrier products. Tyagi reports directly to Pelago's President and CEO, Dennis Chateauneuf. "Pelago's deployment model enables service providers to accelerate their ROI targets and restore profitability by delivering personalized telephony services with minimal capital expenditure," said Chateauneuf, President and CEO, Pelago Networks. "Rajesh's expertise in delivering highly-reliable, scalable carrier products is key to the company's product strategy to continue delivering high-value solutions that meet critical business requirements." Tyagi joined Pelago in December 2001. During the past year, he has been a key player in developing the company's overall product strategy and will continue to focus on the complete lifecycle management of Pelago's platforms and products in his new role. Prior to joining Pelago, Tyagi spent 10 years in a variety of progressive management and technical positions in Product Management, Engineering, Systems Testing, and Business Operations at Nortel Networks in its DMS Switching, Core Data and Optical Networking business units.
