Optiwave releases OptiFDTD 4.0, enabling state-of-the-art design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components

OTTAWA -- Optiwave Corporation announces the latest release of one of its industry-leading products: OptiFDTD 4.0. OptiFDTD enables state-of-the-art design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.

“OptiFDTD’s leading-edge functionality and validated accuracy have already gained world-wide customer acceptance and today, version 4.0 reinforces OptiFDTD’s position as the de-facto industry standard software for finite difference time domain simulations in photonics” said Velko Tzolov, VP of Sales and Marketing at Optiwave. “ OptiFDTD’s simulation superiority is based in part on using a complete materials system and the most advanced simulation algorithms.
