MILPITAS, Calif. -- Velio Communications announced today that it has moved its headquarters into larger facilities in Milpitas, Calif., to accommodate the company's rapid growth. The new headquarters has more than 52,000 square feet and quadruples the size of the space Velio previously occupied in San Jose.

Raju Chekuri, president and CEO of Velio, said the move to larger office space was essential to accommodate the company's expansion needs. "Velio is entering a transition period from being a promising young company to delivering on its promises," said Chekuri. "While the move allows us to expand our workforce in all functional areas, it was absolutely required to enable us to set up our facilities for world class product testing and validation, as we move from sampling to production of our high bandwidth devices."
