MidStream has certified both the switching and transport aspects of Manticom’s integrated solution.Gigabit Ethernet is a transport vehicle that allows cable operators to deliver to subscribers a wide range of on-demand services, including Video on Demand (VOD), Subscription VOD (SVOD), Personal Video Recorder (PVR) and Gaming with dramatically reduced capital expenditures. MidStream’s IP2000 servers are the first hybrid media delivery platform achieving the performance and reliability of a dedicated hardware solution with the flexibility of software.
