LambdaNet extends its IP network to Internet Exchange Points in Stockholm and Zurich

HANNOVER, Germany -- LambdaNet Communications Deutschland AG, Europeansupplier of network telecommunications and Internet services, todayannounced that is has extended the reach of its European IP network toSweden and Switzerland.

With connectivity to the Internet Peering Points NETNOD in Stockholm und TIXin Zurich, the LambdaNet network now provides direct access to Swedish andSwiss Internet content.

“Network packet traffic is soaring, and the demand for high quality IPservices is especially high. The addition of the Peering Points in Swedenand Switzerland is in direct response to a healthy growth in customers andInternet traffic in the area of broadband Internet services. This is anotherstep towards our ultimate objective of connecting all major European PeeringPoints via LambdaNet’s powerful IP network“, said Dieter Finke, CEO atLambdaNet Communications Deutschland AG.
