WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The IPv6 Forum of Luxembourg, booth no. 2407, and Foretec Seminars, Inc., of Reston, VA, today announced that they have formed an alliance to promote the Next Generation Internet, or Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). The first joint project under the new alliance will be the IPv6 Technology Deployment Summit, to be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Washington, D.C., June 18 - 21, 2002, in conjunction with INET 2002, an international conference and expo for advancing the development and implementation of Internet networks, technologies, applications and policies. The alliance between the IPv6 Forum and Foretec Seminars plays a key role in driving the progression of IPv6 towards actualization in the marketplace.
