IP Infusion has promoted Steve Dick to the position of vice president service and support

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- IP Infusion, a leading provider of intelligent network software for enhanced IP services, has promoted Steve Dick to the position of vice president service and support, according to an announcement made by the company today. Mr. Dick will be responsible for customer support, professional services, quality assurance, testing, software automation and sustaining engineering.

"IP Infusion is poised for another year of significant growth, with continued focus on the growing MetroEthernet and enterprise markets," said Mr. Yoshinari Yoshikawa, president and COO of IP Infusion. "We are strengthening our executive-level focus on the services and support, and Mr. Dick's experience will be invaluable in restructuring those areas to ensure exceptional customer focus."

Mr. Dick is a senior executive with more than 25 years of experience achieving business results for Fortune 500 and smaller firms, building and managing successful service and technical support organizations, operations, and engineering teams. He has a strong combination of management, business process, engineering, and people skills, with a focus on strategic marketing, operations, problem solving, process improvement, product development, team building, and profitability.

Prior to joining IP Infusion, Mr. Dick owned and operated his own consulting business. In addition, he has held positions as the VP of Customer Service for Kana Software in Menlo Park, VP of Global Service & Support for Harmonic Inc. in Sunnyvale, VP of Global Sales Operations & Technical Support for Lucent Technologies in Alameda, VP/Director of Sales Operations & Technical Support for Ascend Communications in Alameda, VP of Marketing and Director of Customer Service for Telebit in Sunnyvale, and Director of Engineering for Emerald Systems in San Diego.

Mr. Dick has an MBA from Michigan State University and a BS in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
