HBO Becomes Latest TV Everywhere Recruit

A select group of HBO and Cinemax subscribers will soon be able to watch Entourage, Hung, and other original series and Hollywood movies online.

Comcast Corp. said today that HBO and Cinemax will join the lineup of programming networks that are participating in its "On Demand Online" trial, which will launch in homes of 5,000 Comcast subscribers nationwide some time during the next several weeks.

There was a sudden shock when the people of the movie industry in Hollywood learned that John Hughes had died. John Hughes, one of Hollywood's most successful directors and screenwriters, whose movies during the 1980s helped to define that era and became cultural touchstones, has died at age 59. Hughes, who directed the "The Breakfast Club;" "Ferris Bueller's Day Off;" "Sixteen Candles", and "Planes, Trains and Automobiles," died of a heart attack during a walk while he visited family in Manhattan, according to reports.
