Appoints Steve Heinen as Vice President of Engineering; ex-Nortel executive succeeds Gordon Lee, who becomes Chief Technology Officer

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Geyser Networks Inc., the leading provider of optical communication systems for multi-media service delivery, today announced the appointment of Steve Heinen as Vice President of Engineering. As the leader of Geyser's engineering department, Heinen will be responsible for its day-to-day operations and overall development initiatives. Heinen succeeds the company's current Vice President of Engineering, Co-Founder Gordon Lee, who assumes the role of Chief Technology Officer.

"Steve's depth of experience in developing products for voice and data networks is a valuable contribution to our management team," said Gordon Lee, co-founder and chief technology officer of Geyser Networks. "As Vice President of the engineering group, his leadership, technical guidance and management skills will ensure that we deliver carrier-class products on schedule.
