Pascal Viginier has been appointed Chief Commercial Operations Officer France, taking over from Didier Quillot, who has resigned

PARIS -- Pascal Viginier, currently Head of Research and Development for the France Telecom Group, has been appointed Chief Commercial Operations Officer France, taking over from Didier Quillot, who has decided to pursue his career elsewhere.

Pascal Viginier will report to Louis-Pierre Wenes, Executive Vice President - Operations France and a member of the Group Management Committee.

In addition, Louis-Pierre Wenes will be invited to chair the Board of Directors of Orange France, while Jean-Noël Tronc, operationally in charge of mobile marketing in France, will be put forward for the role of Chief Executive Officer.

As Didier Lombard explains: "Setting up the organization in France around Louis-Pierre Wenes and Pascal Viginier represents an important step forwards with the transformation of the Group. I would like to praise the remarkable contribution made by Didier Quillot to the development of the Group's mobile business in France and wish him every success in his new role".
