Enterasys signs OEM agreement to license and distribute F5 Networks' full suite of products

SEATTLE -- F5 Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:FFIV), the leading provider of Internet Traffic and Content Management (iTCM) products, and Enterasys Networks, Inc. (NYSE:ETS), a leader in enterprise networking solutions, announced that they have entered into an OEM license and distribution agreement. Under this agreement, which is effective immediately, Enterasys will integrate F5's iTCM software into its switch-routing products, and has immediate rights to sell and distribute F5's full suite of products. Enterasys is the first networking vendor to integrate F5's software into one of its own product lines. This agreement further enhances F5's reach into the enterprise as Enterasys develops wired and wireless solutions exclusively tailored for enterprise-class customers. Enterasys broadens and enhances its portfolio of secure, high-availability routing and switching solutions by gaining access to market-leading software that provides a complete and unified solution for the distribution, delivery and control of traffic, content and applications.
