EDISON, N.J. -- Vonage, a leading provider of broadband phone service, today announced a strategic partnership with Microwave Satellite Technologies (MST), Inc., to deliver alternative home telephone services to its aggressively growing broadband subscribers. Now, NuVision cable and broadband subscribers residing within New York City can get unlimited calling in the U.S. and Canada for just $34.99 per month.

Vonage now gives NuVision's subscribers an alternative to traditional phone service in conjunction with its high-speed Internet service. NuVision's entire network of subscribers can access all of Vonage's residential and small business calling plans that include features like call waiting, voicemail and caller ID, in addition to new, advanced proprietary features that are not currently available from traditional phone services, such as selecting your own area code, online account management and Web-based voicemail retrieval.

"We have tapped into NuVision's network of customers to provide Vonage as part of its comprehensive, bundled services," said Phil Giordano, vice president, MSO/Cable sales, Vonage. "Vonage complements NuVision's quality of service and expands its high-speed Internet offering to include flat-rate, full-featured broadband telephony service."

"We at NuVision's Cable and Broadband are excited about this partnership with Vonage because it gives our subscribers the kind of telecommunications package that many companies in the New York market have talked about for many years, but few actually deliver," stated Frank Matarazzo, president, MST. "NuVision's subscribers can now receive state-of-the-art video services, including digital and High Definition television, the best high-speed Internet access product on the market, and now the incomparable Vonage telephone service, in a single, fully integrated package."
