SLOUGH, U.K. -- Mycom International, a global provider of leading-edge OSS software solutions and engineering services to the telecoms industry, has announced that its next-generation, state-of-the-art, multi-vendor, multi-technology performance management solution, NIMS-PrOptima, is now supporting live HSDPA networks.

Over the last 12 months, NIMS-PrOptima has been successfully deployed and/or upgraded on some of the world’s largest and most advanced wireless networks supporting the introduction of HSDPA technology. The solution is now supporting several live HSDPA networks supplied by, amongst other vendors, Ericsson, Nokia, Nortel and Siemens.

NIMS-PrOptima provides intelligent correlation of HSDPA end-to-end performance indicators with configuration parameters and RF measurements that enables the operator to optimise end-user quality and get the most out of this advanced technology. This results in greatly improved end-user experiences for services such as mobile office, video over IP or music downloads.

“Our best-in-class OSS solution combined with our expertise in technology allows our customers to gain quick visibility of their HSDPA technology and associated services. It also ensures quality and timeliness during the critical introduction of these important revenue generating services into the marketplace. This gives clients significant competitive edge while minimising their costs,” commented Mounir Ladki, general manager of the OSS Products Business Unit at Mycom International.
