LONDON -- FireBrick, a totally UK based company, are taking on the big boys with the launch of their ISP grade network routers designed to help ISPs take on the challenge of theIPv6 Internet.

The FireBrick team have created a completely new product range which, unlike its rivals, has IPv6 built in from the start.

The FB6202 ISP network router provides outstanding performance for the power, putting other manufacturers equipment to shame. With a simple configuration the FB6202 LNS can be connected to BT or BE wholesale broadband services in minutes. It provides a giga-bit of throughput to handle many thousands of customers, yet uses around 20W of power. This not only helps the environment but helps reduce ISPs operating costs.

One of the unique features of the new FB6202 is the incredible level of detailed monitoring carried out on every broadband line. This Constant Quality Monitoring gives ISPs an instant insight into any faults, whether on individual lines or in the core networks of the broadband carriers. The reduction in support calls and engineer visits is invaluable in keeping ISP costs down and maintaining quality of service for customers.
