NEW YORK -- Telx®, a leading interconnection and data center provider in 15 strategic North American markets, today announced that MegaPath Wholesale has joined the award-winning Telx Ethernet Exchange to provide carriers another option for accessing its Ethernet services. The first interconnection will be in the Metro New York City region at Telx’s strategically located New York City data center at 111 8th Ave. The Telx Ethernet Exchange will provide carriers with seamless access to MegaPath's Ethernet-over-Copper (EoC) services, a set of economical, last-mile broadband access at speeds ranging from 3 Mbps to 20 Mbps.

"The Telx Ethernet Exchange community provides prospects and existing partners currently colocating in Telx facilities, with another option for gaining access to MegaPath’s portfolio without investing in additional hardware,” said Jeff Brown, Vice President of Carrier Services, MegaPath Wholesale. “Telx helps to remove barriers to entry by eliminating the usual complications between Ethernet buyers and sellers. The Telx Ethernet Exchange is an important component of our continued expansion strategy in reaching new partners, including international providers looking to fill out their footprint in the U.S.”
