PARIS -- InfoVista (NASDAQ: IVTA; Compartment C of Eurolist by Euronext - ISIN Code: FR0004031649), the leading service-centric performance management software company, today announced that Com Hem AB has deployed the InfoVista suite of solutions to ensure quality of service as it transitions to a triple-play service provider model. Com Hem selected InfoVista as its end-to-end performance management platform to expedite expansion of the company's broadband network including voice over IP (VOIP) services.

Known as "triple play," the delivery of voice (VoIP), video (Internet Protocol Television - IPTV) and data services over a single broadband network is the wave of the future for both cable companies and telecommunications service providers as consumers increasingly demand bundled services from a single provider. The race to deliver new services across converged networks will determine the livelihood of individual providers and the cable and telecommunications industries more generally. Performance management technology solutions are taking center stage in the triple-play rollout for their ability to ensure that consumers experience high-quality service from the outset.

As Sweden's largest cable TV provider with over 1.4 million subscribers, and one of Europe's largest cable operators, Com Hem is committed to providing increased value to its large customer base by expanding the services it delivers to the home.

"InfoVista understands the high demands of the market and the pressure the triple-play places on leading communications companies to speed time-to-market with high quality services," said Martin Kull, CTO, Com Hem. "A service-centric approach and cross-silo visibility gives us the ability to maximize utilization of our network, effectively plan for growth and seamlessly introduce innovative services that help maintain our leadership position in this competitive market."
