Etex Communications deploys Pannaway Technologies for triple play and beyond

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Pannaway Technologies, Inc., designers anddevelopers of next-generation, converged IP broadband systems fortelecommunications companies, announced today that Etex TelephoneCooperative, Inc., is deploying one of the largest Triple Play service networks inTexas with Pannaway’s award winning SCN™ platform. Etex has further expandedits use of Pannaway products to provide 10Gigabit per second Ethernet transportservices to hospitals, local businesses and intends to expand offering these servicesto other commercial establishments in their serving area to gain new revenues.

Etex deploys thePannaway equipment in multiple applications including central office, remoteterminal and fiber to the building. The BAR™ is used as a high speed, standardsbased, resilient IP transport ring. Both residential and commercial applications areserved off multiple IP rings designed to provide maximum performance andreliability. Etex is one of the first customers to deploy Pannaway’s market leading10Gigabit redundant and resilient transport interface on the BAR™.
