CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Digital Optics Corporation (DOC) will showcase its three product platforms at the Photonics West exhibition in San Jose, CA, Jan. 22 through Jan. 24. DOC, the inventor and manufacturer of Photonic Chip(TM) Optical Sub-assemblies (OSAs), will exhibit in booth No. 1422 in the Photonics Pavilion at the San Jose Convention Center and Parkside Hall. Platforms to be showcased include: WaveSetter(TM) Wavelength Locker DOC's WaveSetter(TM) platform includes products for fixed laser, narrowly tunable laser and widely tunable laser applications. Lockers for both front and back facet lasers are available in both 50GHz and 100GHz channel spacings. Optical and electrical performance characteristics, as well as physical size and orientation of DOC's lockers, can be optimized to meet customer specifications. High-Efficiency Lenses Manufactured in mass, DOC's high-efficiency, wafer-based, micro-optic lenses deliver a coupling loss of less than 1dB, providing superior signal integrity and connectivity. This platform will be demonstrated in the booth. Parallel Optics Modules DOC manufactures optical sub-assemblies with a small footprint for use in parallel optics modules. Various levels of integration are available, ranging from micro-optics to passive fiber connectivity. DOC's micro-optics work to solve data capacity and space problems inherent in scalable terabit switches and routers for next-generation network applications.Digital Optics Corp.
