White Rock Networks and Cox Communications sign supply agreement

RICHARDSON, Texas -- White Rock Networks today announced that it has signed a supply agreement with Atlanta-based Cox Communications, Inc. As a result of the agreement, White Rock has shipped its VLX2020® SONET OC-48/192 Transport platform to multiple Cox locations.

"White Rock products fit well with our network infrastructure, helping Cox to provide highly reliable, high-bandwidth solutions for our customers," said Darryl Ladd, director of network architecture for Cox Communications, Inc. "White Rock provides a range of cost-effective transport solutions from DS1 to OC-192 including broadband Ethernet and Video on Demand delivery on a single converged transport infrastructure. These solutions allow us to deliver multiple services on the same platform while integrating with our 'Ring-in-Ring' architecture, which provides our customers with reliable, cost-effective solutions."
