Vonage Teams With Cablevision

Vonage forms co-branded partnership to deploy broadband telephony service in Mid-Hudson Cablevision's territories

EDISON, N.J. -- Vonage, a leading provider of digital telephone service, today announced a co-branded partnership with Mid-Hudson Cablevision to deploy broadband telephony service to Mid Hudson's cable television passings in the following New York State counties: Columbia, and Greene. Vonage will offer unlimited local and long distance calling throughout the United States and Canada for $34.99 a month to Mid-Hudson Cable's aggressively growing broadband Internet subscriber base.

The Vonage-Mid-Hudson Cablevision partnership will offer customers, an affordable full-featured telephony alternative to traditional phone service that works over Mid-Hudson's high-speed Internet service. Vonage will offer its customers its full-featured, flat-rate residential and small business service plans. Both plans include all of the standard calling features like call waiting and caller ID, as well as a number of proprietary features, such as area code selection and online voicemail at no additional cost.
