SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Modulus Video, Inc. announced it is shipping all configurations of its eagerly anticipated ME2000 family of MPEG-4 AVC video encoders – the world’s first compact (1 rack unit) encoding platform that can be easily switched between high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD) video. The ME2000 offers more than 25 percent reduction in bit rates while significantly enhancing video quality. The new family of solutions builds on the market leadership Modulus Video achieved with its widely-installed, previous generation products.
