Valo Gets New CEO

Ex-OnePath chief takes helm at broadband access startup

PETALUMA, Calif. -- Valo Inc., an innovator in developing broadband access systems, today announced that it has named David S. Stehlin as President and CEO. With more than 18 years of industry experience, Stehlin will be responsible for leading Valo’s future growth and success.

Previously, Stehlin, 46, served as President and CEO of OnePath Networks. At OnePath he led the team that introduced innovative Fiber Deep Ethernet and video technology to telephone companies and cable TV Multiple Service Operators (MSOs). Prior to OnePath, Stehlin served as President of the Keptel and Network Transport Divisions of Antec (subsequently merged with Arris), a major provider of interconnection passive communications components and power systems to telephone companies, competitive local exchange carriers and cable MSOs. He has also served in senior executive and sales roles at ComNet Services, Laser Precision and Siecor Corporation. Stehlin holds an MBA from National University. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
