The Rise of Women Startups

Female-led startups are on the rise -- 68% in the US between 1997 and 2014, or two times the rate of businesses owned by men, in fact.

According to figures compiled by Women Who Tech, women are successfully launching startups and attracting more funding than ever before. However, it's a matter of going from worse to just okay in most cases. The following Women Who Tech infographic breaks down the stats on women entrepreneurs, the funding they are getting and why we can -- and should -- do better.
