October 30, 2006
KRANJ, Slovenia -- Iskratel has recently presented products, applications and solutions based on WiMAX technology, and combined into a uniform platform of Iskratel’s SI3000 MSAN product line.
WiMax technology is now built in Iskratel’s SI3000 MSAN product line, which already comprises a wide variety of advanced standard interfaces. This technology enables the internet service providers to offer wireless broadband access to the internet at locations with poor subscriber connections, for example in rural areas.
In addition to standard interfaces such as POTS, VDSL2, ADSL2+, and optical access, the SI3000 MSAN product line can provide complete VoIP services over WiMax technology.
Iskratel’s WiMAX is a new solution in a series of advanced and profit-making interfaces combined into a uniform platform of the SI3000 MSAN product line, which supports Iskratel’s gradual transition from next generation networks to IMS/Tispan networks based on IP technology to meet new needs and trends.
