Communications Test Design has acquired all assets of GoDigital Networks

WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI), the world's largest independent global telecommunications repair and logistics provider, announced that it has acquired all assets of GoDigital Networks, the leading supplier of line-powered broadband network access products in North America. The announcement was made by CTDI chairman & CEO Jerry Parsons and became effective June 30, 2006.

   Under the terms of the agreement, CTDI will continue to design, manufacture, sell and support GoDigital-branded products, primarily the XCel product family, and will assume ongoing product life-cycle management responsibilities.GoDigital's facility in Fremont, Calif. will become the newest of CTDI's 37 locations in their global network. Frank Akers, GoDigital president & CEO, will lead the Fremont branch and its staff, focusing on R&D, sales and marketing.

   "The acquisition of GoDigital Networks strengthens CTDI's product, repair and service portfolios," said Parsons. "CTDI's increased capacity in the high-growth access and transport markets will benefit both our OEM and carrier customers."
