SWINDON, U.K. -- Allied Telesis, a global provider of secure IP/Ethernet access solutions and an industry leader in the deployment of IP Triple Play networks, will be showcasing its IP Triple Play and Carrier Ethernet Services over Next-Generation Broadband Access for service providers at Broadband World Forum Europe 2009. The event, at which Allied Telesis has exhibited for five years, takes place in Paris from 7th to 9th September 2009.

“Service providers across the region are demanding solutions that are scalable, generate revenue and drive down both Capex and Opex,” said Venturino Intrieri, Allied Telesis’ Sales Director for NSP in Europe. “The products we are showcasing at Broadband World Forum range from FTTx to IPTV solutions, demonstrating our successful track record in enabling carriers, service providers and operators to deliver advanced solutions with state-of-the-art IP/Ethernet technology.”

At Broadband World Forum Allied Telesis will showcase a number of its products. Its comprehensive managed home networking solution offers the key to increasing Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). It includes an intelligent Multiservice Gateway (iMG), centralised management and automated provisioning systems, right through to the central office interactive Multiservice Access Platform (iMAP) and modular Layer 2/3 switches, making remote management at home a reality. Allied Telesis will also be showcasing its IPv6 to the home solution. The company’s understanding of this market has ensured that its products are ready for the future migration to mixed and native IPv6 networks.

In addition, Allied Telesis’ fibre to the curb, fibre to the premises, fibre to the home and fibre to the desk solutions will be available to view. They provides customers with a reliable, future-proof, next-generation broadband network infrastructure.

Allied Telesis will also showcase its green technology at the event. As a major industry manufacturer and developer of networking equipment, Allied Telesis is committed to providing its customers with products designed and built to the highest quality, whilst minimising the impact to the environment during both manufacture and product operation.

“Both large and small enterprises are looking for ways to upgrade their telecom connections to offer higher bandwidth, but do not want to bear the cost for a total network upgrade,” added Venturino Intrieri. “The Allied Telesis product portfolio provides a pain-free step up to Gigabit speeds for green enterprise networks.”
