FREMONT, Calif. -- Avanex Corporation (NASDAQ:AVNX) , pioneer of intelligent optical solutions that enable next-generation optical networks, announced today that it has engaged Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005. Deloitte & Touche LLP's engagement is effective immediately and will include its review of the Company's financial statements for the second quarter ending December 31, 2004.
