Zappware Wins Slavic IDTV Deal

Has signed a deal with a telecom operator active in two countries belonging to what was formerly known as Yugoslavia

HASSELT, Belgium -- Zappware, the Belgian one-stop solution provider for interactive Digital TV (iDTV) on multiple TV platforms, have signed a deal with a telecom operator active in two countries belonging to what was formerly known as Yugoslavia.

The deal includes delivery of a number of applications from Zappware's "iView for Operators" SD suite, namely Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), Video-On-Demand (VOD), nPVR (network PVR) and Home. These applications come with advanced features such as Pause Live TV, Restart TV, Catch-Up TV, Reminders, Favourites, User Profiles, Application Skinning, Search and Parental Rating.

Besides applications, Zappware also delivers its iView back-end platform for application management. This includes iView Portal, for managing the application content, and iView Interaction Manager, for logging application usage and for generating viewer statistics.

The Zappware deal also includes a VOD back-office, to be delivered by Zappware's trusted Netherlands-based partner EventIS.
