Air2LAN launches WiFi roaming service powered by Boingo Wireless

JACKSON, Miss. and SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- AIR2LAN today announced the launch of AIR2LAN WiFi, an ultra-high speed wireless Internet service powered by Boingo Wireless. AIR2LAN will offer AIR2LAN WiFi service to existing corporate clientele. The company will also market the service on a nationwide basis, targeting both corporate and recreational subscribers. AIR2LAN WiFi - a co-branded version of Boingo's popular wireless Internet service - provides high-speed Internet access through hundreds of public Wi-Fi "hot spots" - hotels, airports, cafes and other public locations - nationwide. "AIR2LAN WiFi lets mobile Internet users enjoy convenient access to high-speed Internet connections on the road," said Bill Hays, VP of AIR2LAN WiFi Services. "Maintaining productivity during downtime at hotels and airports is important to the 12,000 traveling executives among our existing broadband wireless business subscribers."
