StockerYale Appoints CFO

SALEM, N.H. -- StockerYale, Inc. (Nasdaq: STKR), a leading provider of phase masks, specialty optical fiber, and specialized illumination products, has named Francis J. O'Brien as executive vice president & chief financial officer for StockerYale, effective October 29, 2001. Mr. O'Brien served as director of finance & business development for Analogic Corporation where he was responsible for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, internal and external reporting and investor communications. During his tenure with Analogic, Mr. O'Brien directed both the annual and strategic plans outlining revenue, profit, working capital and cash flow goals for all domestic and international divisions and subsidiaries. He was also responsible for treasury, investor relations, external financial reporting and coordinating joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
