OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Sprint (NYSE: FON, PCS) announced today an expanded Sprint Business DSLSM footprint and product set that increases its coverage area to 94 markets across the United States. Additionally, it infuses the Sprint Business DSL product set with additional access speeds and product capabilities. "Customers looking for cost-effective solutions and service across multiple locations can now choose Sprint in even more markets," said Mike McRoberts, director, access product management, Sprint. "Through a consultative approach, Sprint is committed to providing customers a complete set of access alternatives to enable private, secure, IP-based applications and solutions." Sprint Business DSL now includes asymmetrical and symmetrical services (ADSL and SDSL) and IDSL, a service that meets the needs of customers at longer distances from a central office. Sprint Business DSL utilizes static IP addressing, with symmetrical speeds ranging from 144kbps up to 1.5Mbps, and an asymmetrical offering of 1.5Mbps downstream and 384kbps upstream. Professional installation is available for all Sprint Business DSL options and self-installation is available for ADSL. Pricing varies based on service option, term of agreement and speed.
