LONDON -- Farncombe, a leading provider of specialist technology and operational services, today announced a significant expansion of its advisory services portfolio to include network capacity planning, and operational launch readiness advisory and audit services. Farncombe now offers a full complement of services to help clients prepare their new technology products for mass-market adoption in new and complex marketplaces, such as TV, mobile and smart metering. Available support ranges from the management of consumer trials and user experience testing to designing complex operational models. The new Infrastructure Planning Service includes designing and developing scalable operational systems and robust networks. As part of this, Farncombe also offers rationalisation services, including capacity, property matters, space and power management, as well as quality improvement.
TalkTalk, a leading UK TV, broadband, mobile and home phone provider, is one of the first Farncombe clients to leverage this new offering, as it required specialist support for both network capacity planning and data centre operating model planning.
TalkTalk appointed Farncombe to validate its calculations predicting broadband consumer usage.
