Voxline to open contact center to support its business expansion initiatives, by implementing a new VOIP network from Nortel

SAO PAULO, Brazil -- Voxline, a Contact Center enterprise business of the AlSaraiva Empreendimentos in Brazil, is creating a state-of-the-art contact center to support its business expansion initiatives, by implementing a new IP telephony network from Nortel (NYSE/TSX: NT).

The new network, predicted to be operating by the end of the year and being deployed by Nortel channel partner Wittel, makes it possible for Voxline to cost-effectively expand its contact center outsourcing services to customers through the addition of 800 new agent positions. Voxline has clients from different segments, such as: telecommunications, banks and pharmaceutical industry.

Nortel's IP technology makes it possible for Voxline to respond more quickly to customer service requests through a range of multimedia services, such as voice, chat, email, etc. Incoming calls to the center are also immediately routed to the most appropriate agent using Nortel voice technology. The new IP telephony network includes anywhere, anytime mobility for agents and gives Voxline the flexibility to expand quickly to meet increasing demand without major costs for additional network upgrades.
