Anders Swahn of picoChip joins the board of the 10GBase-T chip startup

MILPITAS, Calif. -- Aquantia, the leading developer of mainstream 10GBASE-T solutions, today announced that it has named Anders Swahn as an outside member of its board of directors. Swahn has a strong track record of building and running successful companies, and is also a key investment advisor to major venture capital firms.
Most recently, Swahn was CEO of picoChip. Prior to that, he was co-founder and CEO of Abrizio, which delivered the world’s first carrier-class terabit switching chipset, and was acquired by PMC Sierra. Other experience includes executive-level positions at AMD and Allied Telesyn.
