SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Alliance Fiber Optic Products Inc. (AFOP), a leading supplier of fiber optic network components and subsystems, today announced the appointment of Gregory Barnes as Vice President of USA Operations. Barnes will lead AFOP’s production and distribution and will report directly to AFOP Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Peter Chang. He brings over 25 years of operations experience with him to AFOP, and has been involved with several startup companies.
“Barnes brings years of experience successfully managing complex operations and technical product manufacturing,” said Peter Chang, Chairman and CEO. “He has handled every aspect of the manufacturing cycle, from the start up process and facilities to improving factory production, space, spending and headcount.
