Milan Unseen
What we should have, but didn't see, in Milan
March 28, 2007
9:05 AM -- EuroBlog is in Milan this week for the C5 event, and we've heard from many of our Italian friends about a number of "must see" sights in the north Italian city. (See BT, Huawei Look Alive at C5 and FT, Telefónica Talk Up IMS.)
Sights, unfortunately, that such a short stay (in a different part of the city) simply haven't allowed.
But in case you're going, here are the recommendations we've received from Italtel SpA et al:
Milan Central Station -- an architectural wonder, we are told.
Teatro Alla Scala, or La Scala. Famous for its operatic performances and, again, its physical splendour.
Milan Cathedral. It would have taken our breath away if we'd seen it...
Maybe next time we'll actually go to these places and take some snaps of our own.
