Tellabs: Suitor or Bait?
Analyst sees Tellabs as likely CACS buyer
1 Min Read
12:40 PM -- The analysts at ThinkEquity are name-checking Tellabs as the frontrunner for Carrier Access, which put itself up for sale yesterday:
We believe the logical buyer is Tellabs, because of its current technical integration. We believe other potential buyers among the larger companies include Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, followed by Motorola, Alcatel and Samsung.
We believe there are relatively few smaller companies who would take the risk with acquiring CACS. Clearly, we believe, Tellabs is the most likely candidate to make a deal happen.
Sounds great. But who's going to buy Tellabs?
