Eminent industry executives gather to discuss game-changing technologies and future investment opportunities in telecom
December 5, 2005
NEW YORK, December 5, 2005 — The Light Reading Telecom Investment Conference, to be held on December 14 at the Pierre Hotel in New York City, will bring together the industry's leading service providers and finance executives for an interactive conference on the game-changing technologies that are sweeping through the communications market.
The keynote speaker – Stuart Elby, Vice President of Network Architecture & Enterprise Technology at Verizon – will discuss Verizon's moves into new services such as video and fiber-to-the-home, and how the service provider will use new telecom technology to deploy these services.
Other notable presenters at the conference include Hunter Newby, Chief Strategy Officer of Telx; and Scott Cleland, CEO of the Precursor Group.
This will be the fourth "Telecom Investment Conference" held by Light Reading over the past two years, and it is shaping up to be the most exciting one yet. The Light Reading Telecom Investment Conference has consistently identified key shifts in the telecom market before they hit the mainstream, providing network planners, telecom professionals, and investors with the proprietary industry intelligence and analysis they need to maximize their return on investment.
Conference sessions will cover triple-play services, broadband, carrier-class Ethernet, video on demand, and VOIP.
Registration for press and analysts is free. More than 150 service providers and financial analysts have already registered – there are only a few spots left. Register today at: www.lightreading.com/investconf.
The conference will be followed by a wine tasting and the Second Annual Light Night Gala Dinner and Leading Lights Awards ceremony. For more information on the awards and dinner, click here: www.lightreading.com/awards.
