SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- MontaVista Software Inc., the company powering the embedded revolution, today announced that its flagship product, MontaVista Linux Professional Edition 2.1, will support the new Intel IXC1100 control plane processor.The IXC1100 control plane processor is a highly integrated system-on-a-chip designed for use in next-generation telecommunication equipment such as multi-service switches, VoIP media gateways, and wireless infrastructure.
