READING, U.K. -- RWE IT GmbH, the IT supplier within RWE AG, has joined with Verizon, a global leader in delivering communication, IT security and network solutions, to provide an international network organization for its customers across the RWE Group. Under a new five-year agreement, Verizon will work with RWE IT GmbH to provide a fully managed, end-to-end global communications service, including managed wide area network, local area network, Internet, voice and security solutions.

Our aspiration is to deliver excellence in technology and business process, and we therefore wanted to identify a partner with not only the geographical reach, technical capabilities, experience and expertise to help support our business growth, but also who shared our commitment to innovation in service delivery. Verizon has a strong brand and reputation in the marketplace, and we believe that this new relationship will play a crucial role in helping us create innovative solutions for our customers."
