9:55 AM -- It's been many a long year since India's mobile market recorded a month-on-month growth of fewer than 2 million new connections, but that's what happened in April this year.
That statistic alone doesn't tell the full story, though, as the numbers were skewed by the withdrawal from the market of two operators that lost their licenses in February. (See India in Shock as 122 Licenses Canceled.)
