LONDON -- Las Vegas came to London Wednesday (or that's how it seemed to me, anyway) as Huawei put on a show to launch its latest smartphone, which it is pitching up against Apple's iPhone 6.

The launch was an experience, which can be summed up in one word -- "razzmatazz.' (See Huawei P8 Launch: Cue Applause!.)
