Mediatrix Gets Asia/Pac Partner

Mediatrix extends its sales presence to Asia/Pacific

MONTREAL -- Mediatrix Telecom, Inc., a leader in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) access technology and OrbitIQ, a global business accelerator for the Information & Communications Technology industries, today announced they reached a sales agreement that allows OrbitIQ to represent Mediatrix in Asia/Pacific.

Under the terms of the agreement, OrbitIQ will be building new sales channels for Mediatrix' complete VoIP solutions portfolio while leveraging Mediatrix' existing local distribution channels in Asia/Pacific, including Australia, New Zealand, Korea, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. OrbitIQ will be responsible for marketing, distributing and supporting Mediatrix' complete VoIP solutions in the region.

Mediatrix CEO, Robert Comeau, expressed his objectives in signing this agreement, "we are counting on OrbitIQ to become an extension of our company in Asia. Using their experience and connections, we are expecting OrbitIQ to raise our brand awareness and generate accelerated sales momentum in these new markets".

"Our job is to leverage our unique people and relationships to deliver incremental sales revenue to Mediatrix. They are a successful enterprise with compelling products, we will make them even better", commented Ian Lewis, Vice-President of Telecom Ventures at OrbitIQ. Mr. Lewis will oversee the relationship with Mediatrix and the deployment of sales channels.
