Has signed a partnership agreement with Nanjing Putian

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif. -- Lynx Photonic Networks (www.LynxPN.com), the leading photonic switching solution company, announced today it has signed a partnership agreement with Nanjing Putian, one of China's largest manufacturers and suppliers of telecommunications equipment. The two companies have already begun marketing and sales activities together in China and will now pursue an ambitious joint venture.

Lynx - a major provider of optical protection, bypass and disaster recovery systems - is renowned worldwide for its unique planar lightwave circuit (PLC) technology, which is used in the design of optical protection systems, reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexers, optical cross-connects, passive optical networks, and fiber-to-the-premises products.

"As the market moves to higher bandwidth and mission-critical networks, there is an ever-increasing demand for high availability," said Mr. Sun Liang, CEO of Nanjing Putian.
